INVITATION TO APPLY FOR ELIGIBILITY AND TO BID

The National Parks Development Committee (NPDC) hereby invites interested Filipino contractors, registered with and classified by the Philippine Contractors Accreditation Board (PCAB), to apply for eligibility and if found eligible, to bid for the hereunder contract:

1. Project Title No. 1  : Rehabilitation of Drainage System & Construction of Underground Water Cistern & Sprinkler System
Location : Central & Eastern Section, Rizal Park, Ermita, Mla.
Brief Description : Rehabilitation of Drainage & Sprinkler System and Construction of Uderground Water Cistern
Approved Budget : P30,000,000.00
Source of Fund : GAA 2012
Contract Duration : 150 calendar days
     
2.Project Title No. 2  : Redevelopment of Halamanang Pilipino (Binhi Ng Kalayaan)
Location : Eastern Section, Rizal Park, Ermita, Mla.
Brief Description : Redevelopment of Halamanang Pilipino into a Historic Centennial Garden with themed gardens and amenities to be known as Binhi ng Kalayaan Garden
Approved Budget : P30,000,000.00
Source of Fund : GAA 2012
Contract Duration : 120 calendar days

 The following schedule shall be observed:

1.  Submission of Letter of Intent incl. Application for Eligibility : November 11 - 23, 2011
2.  Issuance of Eligibility Forms  : November 11 - 24, 2011

3.  Deadline for Submission of Eligibility Requirements                    

: December 1, 2011
4.  Notice of Results of Eligibility Check : December 5, 2011
5.  Issuance of Bid Documents : December 5 - 6, 2011
6.  Pre-bid Conference  : December 12, 2011, 2:00 p.m. (Project No. 1)
  : December 12, 2011, 3:00 p.m. (Project No. 2)
7.  Submission and Opening of Bids  : December 27, 2011, 2:00 p.m. (Project No. 1)
  : December 27, 2011, 3:00 p.m. (Project No. 2)

The BAC will issue to prospective bidders Eligibility Forms at the Office of the BAC Secretariat, Executive Building, NPDC Compound, Rizal Park, Ermita, Manila from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. upon their submission of an LOI, photocopy of PCAB License and upon their payment of a non-refundable amount of P2,500.00 to the NPDC Cashier.

Biddings documents shall be issued only to bidders declared by the BAC to be eligible for the bidding upon payment of a non-refundable amount of P5,000.00 to the NPDC Cashier.

All particulars relative to Eligibility Statement and Screening, Bidding, Evaluation of  Bids, Post-Qualification and Award of Contract shall be governed by the pertinent provisions of R.A. 9184 and its Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR).

NPDC reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, declare failure bidding or not award the contract in the situations cited in Section 41 of R.A. 9184.
