VISITING KOREAN VIOLINIST EUN JOO PARK IN
This Sunday, September 11, 2011, starting at 5:00 p.m., visiting Korean violinist Eun Joo Park takes center stage in Concert at the Park, a regular weekly public service project of the Department of Tourism, under Sec. Ramon Jimenez, the National Parks Development Committee, under Executive Director Juliet H. Villegas, and the National Broadcasting Network, in partnership with the Bella Dimayuga Event, Inc. Joining Ms. Park are Ms. Bella Dimayuga and singer Bobby Valle. Ms. Minette Padilla is program host. Admission is free. Ms. Eun Joo Park studied music in Italy and is a member of Korea’s MBC Orchestra. A music teacher, singer, dancer and a movie actress (one of her successful movies was “Beethoven Virus”), Ms. EJ is a very successful endorser of top quality products and condominiums and Korea’s Ambassador of Goodwill. One of her projects is the help she gives to the KOPINO or abandoned children of Korean-Filipino partnership). She is also a sought-after recording artist, with four international albums (CDs) under her name. Here in the Philippines for a series of shows, Ms. EJ is under the management, in the Philippines, of Ms. Bella E. Dimayuga of Bellestar Promotions and Bella Dimayuga Events, Inc. Ms. Bella Dimayuga opens the show with two colorful Broadway numbers – CABARET (Fred Ebb/John Kander) and MINNIE D’MOOCHER MEDLEY. Popular balladeer Bobby Valle follows with a fifteen minute performance of such songs as FEELS SO GOOD (C. Mangione), ONE IN A MILLION (Toby Gadand/Negn Diafari) and FOR ONCE IN MY LIFE (Miller/Murden). Visiting Korean Artist Eun Joo Park performs in the last part of the program with a variety of standard and popular music, including a couple of Filipino songs, guaranteed to touch the hearts of the Filipino audience. |
