INVITATION TO APPLY FOR ELIGIBILITY AND TO BID
The National Parks Development Committee (NPDC) hereby invites interested Filipino contractors/operators to apply for eligibility and if found eligible, to bid for the following available concessions at Rizal Park, Ermita, Manila:
Concession Areas
| A. | Kiosk fronting the Manila Hotel |
| B. | The area formerly occupied by the Golden Horizon Restaurant |
| C. | Kiosk fronting the Japanese Garden |
| D. | The Bulwagan ng Kagitingan at the Light ans Sound Tableau |
| E. | The space vacated by the Tyrex Marketing beside Wendy's along Taft Avenue |
The following schedule shall be observed:
| Submission of Letter of Intent
stating 1) Concession area he would like to lease 2) The purpose for which he will use the area |
June 16-28, 2010 |
| Issuance of Eligibility Forms | June 17-30, 2010 |
| Deadline for Submission of Eligibility Requirements | July 9, 2010 |
| Notice of Results of Eligibility Check | July 16, 2010 |
| Issuance of Bid Documents | July 16-21, 2010 |
| Pre-bid Conference | July 23, 2010 @ 2:00 PM |
| Submission and Opening of Bids | August 6, 2010 at 2:00 PM |
The BAC will issue to prospective bidders Eligibility Forms at the Office of the BAC Secretariat, Executive Building, NPDC Compound, Rizal Park, Ermita, Manila from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. upon their submission of an LOI, photocopy of PCAB License and upon their payment of a non-refundable amount of P2,500.00 to the NPDC Cashier.
Biddings documents shall be issued only to bidders declared by the BAC to be eligible for the bidding upon payment of a non-refundable amount of P3,000.00 to the NPDC Cashier.
All particulars relative to Eligibility Statement and Screening, Bidding, Evaluation of Bids, Post-Qualification and Award of Contract shall be governed by the pertinent provisions of R.A. 6957 and its Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) as amended by R.A. 7718, and other pertinent government rules and regulations on lease of government properties.
NPDC reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, declare a failure bidding or not award the contract in situations contrary to existing provisions on lease of government properties.
