MISSION STATEMENT

TO PROVIDE FULLY DEVELOPED AND WELL-MAINTAINED PARKS FOR THE FILIPINOS WHOLESOME RECREATION AND SOCIO-CULTURAL EDUCATION WHICH WILL CONTRIBUTE TOWARDS THE ENRICHMENT OF NATIONAL IDENTITY AND HERITAGE.

MAJOR THRUSTS AND PROGRAMS

  1. DEVELOPMENT AND MAINTENANCE OF ASSIGNED PARKS

Performance of general maintenance work, preservation and beautification of assigned parks

Implementation of infrastructure projects for the rehabilitation and development of assigned parks

  1. PROMOTION OF RECREATIONAL SOCIO-CULTURAL AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES

Reinvigoration of arts and cultural presentations

Hosting of various activities of national and historical significance, wreath laying and other cultural activities

Conduct of special projects for the children at the parks

  1. IMPROVEMENT OF FINANCIAL VIABILITY IN SUPPORT OF NPDC MISSION

Regulation and supervision of business concession in the assigned parks

Marketing and promotion of agency and its parks and services

Solicitation of financial assistance from local and foreign agencies through grants and aids.

  1. MAINTENANCE  OF PEACE AND ORDER IN THE ASSIGNED PARKS

Continuous implementation of the zero-vendor policy

Conduct of park security and public order projects

Strengthening of linkages with law enforcement agency
